Elections for Board Members are held every even number years in November. The District does a joint election by contracting through the Henderson County Election Office. The District's next election will be held on November 2026. 

All forms must be filed in at our office (LOCAL FILE). We have a few staff members who are notaries that can be available to notarize forms upon request.

APPOINTMENT APPLICATION DUE 10/7/2025 4PM. 

The East Cedar Creek Fresh Water Supply District has a vacancy on the Board of Directors due to a recent resignation.  The Board of Directors, by quorum, governs on behalf of the District’s best interest and is a non-salary position.  Applications are available at our Administration Office located at 115 Hammer Rd, Gun Barrel City, Tx 75156 and need to be returned no later than October 7, 2025. The Board would also like for the applicant to attach a short Bio/Resume.

October 19, 2026 - First day to vote early in person
October 23, 2026- Last day to submit an application for a ballot by mail (received in office, not postmarked)
October 30, 2026 - Last day to vote early in person
November 3, 2026 - Election Day, last day to receive ballot by mail.
